thiamine, like all B vitamins, plays an important role in the body’s
resistance to disease. It is a powerful antioxidant and decreases oxidation
of lipids (fats) in the body.
Vitamin
B12 (as cyanoccobalamin):
a coenzyme needed for fat and carbohydrate metabolism. It is involved
in all immune responses. Energizes, relieves fatigue, depression, hangover
and poor concentration.
Vitamin
B2 (as riboflavin):
is involved in two types of energy metabolism: in protein metabolism to
form enzymes necessary to transport oxygen to cells; and in metabolism
of lipids such as fatty acids. B2 is needed for tissue repair and plays
a role in our defense and immune system.
Vitamin
B6 (as pyridoxine hydrochloride):
is needed for healthy blood and blood vessels. A deficiency can cause
a depression of the immune system. B6 is one of the most essential, widely
utilized vitamins in the body. It is involved in the metabolism of amino
acids and of essential fatty acids. It is therefore needed for the proper
growth and maintenance of almost all
body functions.
Vitamin
C (as ascorbic Acid, acerola & rose hips):
a primary preventative of free radical damage, it strengthens the immune
system. Protects against infections, safeguards against radiation, heavy
metal toxicity, environmental pollutants and early aging.
Vitamin
D (as cholecalciferol):
is actually a hormone that encourages the absorption of calcium and phosphorus
from the intestine and controls the deposit of these minerals in the bones
and teeth. Adequate vitamin D helps prevent osteoporosis.
Vitamin
E (as d-alpha tocopheryl acetate, mixed tocopherol with wheat germ):
a fat-soluble antioxidant and immune stimulant. Neutralizes free radicals
against the effect of aging. Helps protect against air pollution, particularly
ozone, and also against free radical damage caused by radiation.
Vitamin
K (as phytonadione):
it’s most important function is the production of coagulation (blood
clotting) factors in the body. Vitamin K deficiencies are believed to
contribute to osteoporosis.
Wild
Mexican yam (root):
is used for menstrual cramps, is effective for the liver and the gallbladder
and for digestive problems associated with an imbalance of these organs.
It also helps with chronic flatulence and gas.
Yarrow
(Achillea millefolium) (flower):
Has been historically used as a tonic in helping to regulate liver function.
It tones the mucus membrane of the stomach and bowels and supports the
glandular system. It acts as a blood cleanser. It helps open pores to
permit free perspiration for elimination of waste and relieving the kidneys.
Yarrow has recently been mentioned to have anti-cancer properties.
Yellow
Dock (Rumex crispus) (root):
Is one of the best blood builders and purifiers in the herb kingdom. It
stimulates elimination and improves flow of bile. It is a nutritive tonic
very high in iron so it is useful in treating anemia. It nourishes the
spleen and liver. Yellow Dock is rich in easily digestible plant iron.
It is also rich in vitamins A, C, manganese and nickel.
Yerba
Mate (leaf):
rich in vitamins A, E, C and B, naturally lifts fatigue and provides broad
range nutrition to body cells. Protects against the effects of stress.
Helps the respiratory system overcome allergies and works as a catalyst
that increases the healing effects of other herbs.
Zinc (as
zinc citrate & zinc oxide):
a coenzyme that protects against free radical damage, zinc is essential
to maintaining immune strength, gland, sexual and reproductive health.
Zinc is a brain food that promotes mental alertness.

Carbon
is the principal element of growth. When carbon and oxygen are at
work, one upon the other, there is heat generation, growth and generation
of carbonic acid gas. Carbon is the basic element of cell birth
and cell life and mainly supports the vital systems. An excess results
in obesity, boils, fatty degeration, anemia, high blood pressure.
Carbon, or its compounds, occur mainly in starches, sweets, fats and alson
in most proteins. To counteract excess, avoid greasy foods such
as fatty game, meats, oily fish, goose, fatty sausage, and gravies.
Foods low in fat are bass, bone broth, buttermilk, skimmed milk, goat
milk cheese and cottage chees, cauliflower, young carrots, tender cabbage,
chard, string beans, blueberries, blackberries

Hydrogen:
Present in bodily secretions, soft tissue, lymph, brain,
lungs, glands, liver, kidnesy, slpeen, pancreas. Hydrogen foods are moisture-carrying
foods, such as apricots, cherries, all berries, fruit juices, cabbage,
tomatoes, leaf lettuce, Swiss Chard, watercress, The Nerves, must be bathed
in fresh moisture. Without hydrogen, the blood cound not flow and
waste and toxic materials could not be washed out of the body. An
excess of water in the body, however, causes pressure and enlargement
of body organs.

Nitrogen
as found in food or in air, is a restraining element, the opposite of
oxygen. Oxygen is like fire. Nitrogen is stillness itself.
Without nitrogen, oxygen would burn us up and life would cease to exist.
nitrogen enters human tissue under many different names - in the solid
elastic tissue, lymph, muscles, blood plasma, in the crystalline lense
of the eyes, connective tissue, mucous, membranes, skin, hair, nails.
The main supply of nitrogen is found in proteins, the principal muscle
builder. Nitrogen yeilds heat and muscular energy. A deficiency leads
to muscular exhaustion, numbness, tired feelings. Anexcess of nitrogen,
however, results in autointoxication, stagnation, swelling, forgetfulness,
headache, enlargement of the heart, so it is very important to keep nitrogen
in proper balance. nitrogen (or very high protein) foods are almonds,
beans, beef, fish, goat cheese, lean veal, liver, quail, Swiss cheese,
other cheeses and unleavened breads. low nitrogen foods are young kale,
milk whey, okra, ripe olives, parsley, apricots, artichokes, string beans,
young carrots, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, turnips, wild cherry juice and
wintergreen.
Osmium
Oxygen
is needed by each individual cell in the body, for building, energizing
and burining up waste. It affects each inidividual differently,
according to the other chemical elements in the body. An ample supply
of oxygen is needed in order to supply the lungs, blood and tissues, keep
the arteries elastic, eyes glowing, heart active and agile. Some
of the high oxygen foods are: liquid chlorophyll, iron tonics, red juicy
meats, beets, grapes, tomatoes, onions, leeks, wild cherry juice and so
forth. The best oxygen "foods" for the respiratory system
are fresh mountain air, clean air, and the higher altitudes
